Job Summary: The Painter I sprays the surfaces of machines, manufactured products or working area with protective or decorative material. Additional Information: Schedule: Regular schedule is Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM, currently working 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overtime based on business need Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Sponsorship is not available Starting pay is $21.90 an hour – can be adjusted based on experience What you will do: At SPM Oil & Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service

Requirements

Minimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to pass a fit test to ensure painting mask will fit properly and eliminate any potential safety hazards
Due to the requirement to wear a painting mask, employees must have limited facial hair

Responsibilities

Responsible for the preparation of product for painting
Preparation of paint supplies for the applicable product
Completes daily production logs to meet environmental and safety standards
Performs daily preventative maintenance of work area
Maintain routine housekeeping to eliminate workplace hazards
Paint parts per work instructions, Standard Operating Procedures, blueprints, Risk Assessment and job routers
Works with Material Coordinator on inventory levels to ensure production levels are maintained
Performs other duties as assigned
