About The Position

The Painter sprays the surface of manufactured products, or working area with protective coatings such as paint, primer, enamel, and polyurethane according to Standard Work instructions.

Requirements

Three to six months of related paint experience and/or training.
Certification from technical school preferred.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of applying adhesives, primers and topcoats with HVLP (high-volume, low-pressure) spray equipment.
Familiar with mixing ratios.
Ability to comprehend and follow written specifications.
Ability to work in a fast-paced moving line/batch process environment.

Responsibilities

Mix selected coating liquid per the job traveler and drawing requirements.
Fill paint liner/cup with desired material.
Select the required part/monument to be painted.
Adjust and spray required part/monument and coupon to specifications.
Check finished part/monument to ensure it meets specifications.
