JOB SUMMARY: PAINTER I (Paint Hanger): The Paint I - Paint Hanger is expected to safely complete supervised powder coat paint established procedures, processes, or policies. Paint Hangers safely and efficiently load and unload raw parts from the paint line. The Paint Hangers are expected to move efficiently and safely with the end result being a ready to use part or assembly.

Requirements

Ability to perform highly repetitive assembly tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent
Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of manufacturing processes or related experience

Responsibilities

Maintain clean work environment
Constantly work in a high heat environment
Perform work duties in a safe manner and in accordance with policy (including wearing required proper personal protective equipment (including tyvek suite when painting and bump cap when in paint area), work habits and performing appropriate housekeeping duties)
Other duties assigned
Loading, transferring, and unloading of parts on and/or from paint line
Process each part by hanging/racking to paint application
Inspect quality of parts before and after finishing process
Perform stock handling duties as required
Maintain proper counts & report all scrap
Exchange and break down racks and prepare for burn off
