About The Position

This position is responsible for applying paints, stains, and coatings to various surfaces in our facility, ensuring high-quality finishes, safety, and timely completion of projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial or industrial painting, knowledge of the latest techniques, and a commitment to maintaining the aesthetic and integrity of our facility.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a commercial painter.
• Familiarity with painting tools, materials, and various coating techniques.
• Knowledge of surface preparation and application techniques for different materials (drywall, wood, metal, etc.).
• Ability to mix and match colors accurately and consistently.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights if necessary.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and priming as needed.
• Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
• Select appropriate materials and tools to achieve the best quality finish.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with other team members to complete larger projects as part of facility renovations and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance on painting tools and equipment.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and disposal of paint materials.
