Acts Acquisition & Development Company is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Painter position. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine to complex surface preparation, selecting appropriate paint materials, and using various application techniques to achieve a high-quality finish. Removes old finishes and preps surface for interior and/or exterior painting. Applies coats of primer, paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings, other structures, and/or equipment. Assists with ordering paint materials, estimating amount of paint needed, and coordinating schedule with other phases of work. Maintains inventory of supplies, including paint brushes, tarps, chemicals, etc. Must be able to Hang/finish sheetrock.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of painting experience.
  • Construction or maintenance related experience is preferred.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
