Requirements
- Minimum of 8-10 years' experience in a field or related industry.
- Must have experience in the construction industry and or related field.
- Able to work independently and or on a team within established procedures associated with the job functions.
- Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
- Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout duration of shift.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED a plus but not required.
- Project Orientated Individual.
- Certification not required but a plus.
Responsibilities
- Performs skilled and routine building maintenance, construction, and repairs.
- Follows standard safety and operating procedures.
- Tasks include but are not limited to carpentry, fabrication, flooring, carpet repairs, building additions, and general building maintenance.
- Installing drywall, insulation, adding fixtures, welding, fitting handles, locks, and hinges.
- Connects wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment.
- Perform general maintenance which includes but not limited to replacing flooring, painting, plumbing, make ready hotel rooms, replacing HVAC filters, Inspecting ceilings, etc.
- Maintaining corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance.
- Installs control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit breaker panels.
- Repairs faulty equipment or systems.
- Cuts and welds steel structural members.
- Other duties may be assigned.
