About The Position

The position involves general maintenance of casino indoor and outdoor premises, working with all departments on an as-needed basis, and collaborating with all Engineering personnel. The role requires maintaining the operating condition of casino buildings and equipment, completing simple repairs, and ensuring timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of various systems including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and chillers. The technician will also be responsible for accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance reports, performing technical projects, landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and masonry work. Additionally, the technician will aid in planning casino projects and must adhere to safety guidelines and internal controls.

Requirements

• 2 years proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices.

Responsibilities

• Maintains operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs.
• Uses knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting, and plumbing.
• Responsible for timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers, and any other pieces of equipment that would need service.
• Reads meters, gauges, and other testing instruments accurately to detect and identify problems.
• Documents all repairs and preventive maintenance reports accurately and timely.
• Performs departmental technical projects including electrical and mechanical equipment repair.
• Handles landscaping and sprinkler maintenance.
• Performs carpentry repairs.
• Performs plumbing repairs.
• Performs electrical repairs.
• Performs masonry work.
• Receives and reviews Engineering Request Forms to determine problems and resolutions.
• Aids in planning of casino projects, remodeling, expansions, and monitors jobs completed by outside contractors.
• Follows safety guidelines and works closely with the Safety Coordinator to adhere to OSHA safety guidelines.
• Operates common hand or power tools.
• Provides excellent guest service to both guests and internal clients.
• Adheres to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
