The Heritage at Brentwood is looking for a full-time hospitality-focused Painter to perform first-class painting services, indoors and outdoors, for our senior living community and skilled nursing facility. Requirements

• Minimum one year experience in painting trade and/or building maintenance, but two years’ experience preferred.
• Quality of work is accurate, thorough, and neat.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of painting and wall covering trade.
• Basic shop-level math and comprehensive understanding of English; must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Performs painting tasks as assigned for the residential community, including removal of existing paint, preparation of surfaces to be painted, application of a variety of surface materials, and maintenance of painted areas for both indoor and outdoor projects.
• Use of power cleaning equipment, chemicals, scrapes, sandpaper, and sanding machines.
• Applies patches, plaster, and sheetrock by using filler, tape, spackling compound, patching plasters, and other relevant products as needed.
• Prepares and installs vinyl wall coverings.
• Paints walls, ceilings, and other interior accessories as assigned.
