About The Position

As a Painter at Trinity Property Consultants, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our properties. Your responsibilities will include managing paint touch-ups in common areas, preparing surfaces, mixing paint, and applying coatings to ensure a high-quality finish. This position requires collaboration with maintenance staff and adherence to safety regulations, making it essential for maintaining our vibrant community.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year of painting experience required, multifamily experience preferred.
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred.
  • Accurately perform basic mathematical functions.
  • EPA Universal Certification preferred.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) Certification preferred.
  • Basic computer and internet knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to use on-site resident management software preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with airless spray equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Complete unit turn paint including touch up paint, color change, ceiling, cabinets, baseboard, and trim as directed by manager.
  • Complete drywall repairs to surfaces in vacant and occupied apartment homes.
  • Complete exterior wood, stucco, and fencing repairs and paint.
  • Perform common area paint touch ups, hallway, and curb paint.
  • Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, sheetrock, concrete, and wood.
  • Perform building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks.
  • Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment and scaffolding.
  • Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation, staining, and sealing.
  • Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Perform minor plaster repair, blending newly renovated wall surfaces with existing plaster.
  • Survey building painting project sites to estimate time and material quantities required; select appropriate surface coatings.
