In this role, you will mix automotive refinishing materials according to supplier formulas, ensuring accuracy and maintaining a clean work environment. Additional responsibilities include shipping and receiving, stocking products, operating a forklift, assisting with picking customer orders, and inventory management. Attention to detail is crucial for both paint mixing and warehouse tasks. Requirements

  • The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and possess strong accuracy, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication, both written and verbal, is essential, along with the ability to analyze information and make decisions.
  • The ability to stay organized, prioritize tasks efficiently, and manage time effectively is also important.
  • The candidate should be punctual, detail-oriented, a team player, and open to learning new skills.
  • The role requires handling physical tasks, including standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying materials, and using forklifts.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and interacting with both customers and coworkers in a professional and business-like manner.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of Warehouse experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Mix refinish materials according to paint supplier formulas, ensuring accurate measurements and product consistency.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about product features, prices, availability, and uses, and handle complaints professionally.
  • Lift and maneuver paint containers up to 50 pounds using proper tools and follow safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving freight, stocking shelves, rotating products, and performing inventory cycle counting.
  • Operate a forklift to move stock, perform shipping duties, and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  • Promote safety awareness, continuous improvement, and proper handling of hazardous materials, including cleaning spills and following safety procedures.
