Holman Collision Center has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Paint Technician to join the Holman family. We're seeking a technician that has strong experience painting with up to date spray equipment What will you do? Our Paint Technician is responsible for paint and restoration to luxury vehicles, both minor and major, of collision damage to vehicles.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of related auto body paint experience, ICAR certs a plus
  • ASE certified highly desired and/or paint manufacturer certification
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent
  • Driver's License and clean MVR
  • Willingness to satisfy our background requirements, drug and physical

Responsibilities

  • Properly clean and prepare surfaces to be painted including masking, sanding, buffing, and prepping.
  • Ability to determine damaged areas on bodies to be repaired.
  • Must be able to isolate painted / unpainted areas – i.e. masking, taping doors, etc.
  • Check paint workmanship while striping and decaling and inform of errors.
  • Possess knowledge of assembly process to limit scrap materials.
  • Possess an understanding and exercise extreme care during the operation and movement of large parts while using the company lifting systems.
  • Inform and communicate suggestions and errors to relevant departments for continuous improvement of the installation process.
  • Understand the value that quality plays in the overall success of the company, help in increasing the quality of our products for the appearance and safety for our customers.
  • Ability to operate required tools within standard operations procedures.
  • Must comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.
  • Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
