About The Position

New Shop. New Team. Ground Floor Opportunity. Better Collision Centers is opening in Myrtle Beach and we're hiring Paint Technicians to build our team from day one. The Work Surface preparation, masking, and priming Mix and match paint to achieve OEM color standards Apply basecoat, clearcoat, and blend finishes Final finish work — buffing, polishing, and quality inspection Keep the booth and equipment clean and production-ready What We're Looking For Technical school OR 3+ years of automotive paint experience Strong color matching and blending skills Experience with waterborne and solvent-based systems I-CAR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Pay & Benefits Commission-based flat rate pay with a guaranteed weekly minimum Paid weekly Up to 14 days PTO annually (prorated in first year; available after 90 days) 1 Floating Holiday upon hire Health, dental, and vision insurance Voluntary life insurance Short-term and long-term disability Growth opportunities — this company is expanding fast Our Core Values Culture-First Excellence – Trust, transparency, accountability. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to work in a shop environment with noise, odors, and paint fumes
  • Respirator fit required
  • Technical school OR 3+ years of automotive paint experience
  • Strong color matching and blending skills
  • Experience with waterborne and solvent-based systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • I-CAR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
