About The Position

The Paint Technician is responsible for paint application to fabricated items.

Requirements

• Ability to use paint sprayer in a clean and orderly fashion
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year plus in a paint facility
• Ability to lift 50lbs frequently
• Prolonged, extensive, or considerable standing/walking/sitting
• Manual dexterity and mobility
• Considerable reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching
• Visual and auditory acuity
• Fabrication shop
• Manual work
• 3pm - 12am, M-Th

Responsibilities

• Prep all painted surfaces so that the paint can adhere to the metal surface
• Apply paint to customer specifications, paying close attention to application technique so that paint does not run or pool
• Clean and maintain paint equipment
• A willingness to cross train and assist in other shop functions as needed
