Role Description and Expectations
Paint Tech Position.
Paint Technician – (w/ future plan to expand Duties into a Development Role)

Responsibilities

• Material pickups as needed
• Painting in all capacities: Interior and Exterior
• Train in specialized work such as stucco replacement
• Perform surface preparation including sanding, scraping, caulking, patching, and priming
• Maintain clean and organized job sites in accordance with company standards
• Assist in color matching and finish selection
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality control standards are met
• Identify and report surface or substrate issues prior to painting
• Maintain tools, sprayers, ladders, and equipment in proper working order
• Assist with daily job planning and crew assignments
• Shadow division lead on project scheduling and timeline management
• Learn estimating basics including labor and material forecasting
• Track daily production progress and report to division manager
• Assist in creating and maintaining material lists for each project
• Material ordering and controlling waste
• Coordination & Leadership Development
• Serve as point-of-contact on smaller projects when assigned
• Communicate job progress updates to management
• Assist in training new technicians on company processes and standards
• Reinforce company quality and customer service expectations in the field
• Coordinate material staging and delivery timing for upcoming jobs
• Develop ability to manage multiple job timelines simultaneously
• Scheduling paint crews
• Coordinating job timelines
• Managing material ordering
• Overseeing paint division workflow
• Supporting overall division profitability and efficiency
