About The Position

As part of the Open Road Collision group DBA Drury Moss, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality collision repair services with exceptional customer care. We are looking for a skilled Paint Technician to work on vehicles in a fast-paced auto body shop environment. As a Collision Paint Technician, you'll perform vehicle refinishing as assigned in accordance with manufacturer and industry standards. Allard Collision uses industry leading production process that result in additional workflow for the technician allowing for greater opportunity to earn more money.

Requirements

  • I-CAR Certification preferred (will help obtain if you do not)
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair process by manufacturer (OEM Certified Preferred)
  • Must be able to operate a vehicle legally
  • Genuine interest in providing an exceptional customer experience
  • Friendliness, enthusiasm, reliability, with a positive "team-player" attitude
  • Strong work-ethic with the ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
  • Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment

Responsibilities

  • Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair and status
  • Performs quality refinishing while keeping on-time status in mind
  • Performing work as outlined on repair orders
  • Operating all equipment in the paint department in a safe and productive manner
  • Following Safety Standards for the use of personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, gloves, respirator) while working in the paint department
  • Inspecting all work performed as a Quality Control (QC) measure as soon as jobs are completed
  • Mixing all chemicals according to manufacturer directions/specifications
