About The Position

We are looking for our next dynamic Team Leader. Could it be you? KI's Manufacturing Plant in Bonduel is looking for a First Shift Team Leader for our Paint Department. This individual must be able to effectively: Lead a team through motivation, team building, conflict resolution, etc. Be able to direct and operate all paint functions – this is a working Team Leader role Promote, understand and be able to calculate all goal-sharing measures - COQ, on-time shipments, quality, safety, etc Ensure cell is staffed according to our labor standards Have a thorough understanding of how to satisfy internal and external customers Work collaboratively with other team members including team leaders, engineers, quality inspectors and Process Managers to resolve issues, improve processes and achieve production targets Ability to make sound judgments, problem-solve and support manager as needed Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts (during peak production-summer months) Job knowledge along with performance evaluations and an interview process will determine the best candidates for the position Our Team Leader positions are “hands on” and report to our Lean Production Manager. The Team Leader must be able to promote, understand and be able to calculate and communicate all goals set for department regarding safety, quality and production. This is a first shift position. Hours are primarily 5a-2p with overtime and weekends required during peak production (summer months). Qualified candidates will be highly motivated, inquisitive and adept at problem solving. Knowledge of the BPCS system is a plus. Successful completion of a drug screen will be required. KI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
