About The Position

The Team Lead is a hands-on, front-line leader responsible for guiding daily paint operations while actively coaching and engaging team members. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining Ecoplastic’s quality standards across all stages of the paint process. The Team Lead works closely with team members to ensure they have the tools, resources, and support needed to complete scheduled work safely, efficiently, and to specification. The Team Lead oversees and supports paint operations, including but not limited to: Pre-inspection and incoming part quality monitoring Paint jig input, raw part loading, labeling, ionized air blowing, and IPA wiping Monitoring wet inspection booths to ensure application quality standards are met Monitoring finished goods quality to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of one (1) year of leadership experience or three (3) years of paint application experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong Excel skills preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively with management, cross-functional teams, and supplier partners
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs; frequently up to 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required for projects or operational needs

Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to reinforce safety, quality, production goals, and key metrics
  • Coach, guide, and support team members; provide positive recognition and corrective feedback as needed
  • Manage departmental performance metrics using visual controls and provide regular progress updates to leadership
  • Assign daily work and provide hands-on guidance to ensure operational alignment and efficiency
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by training personnel on equipment use and enforcing safety policies and procedures
  • Manage departmental workflow to ensure on-time delivery of quality products to internal and external customers, including working alongside team members when required
  • Model professional conduct at all times, maintaining a respectful, courteous, and team-oriented demeanor
