About The Position
The Paint Line Operator is responsible for applying finishes to parts using spray painting equipment while maintaining high quality standards and a safe work environment. This role supports production by ensuring proper coating, equipment maintenance, and efficient workflow.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, and use ladders or stools
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate spray painting equipment to finish parts
- Hang parts on overhead conveyors manually or using a hoist
- Monitor product quality, prevent defects, and minimize paint waste
- Inspect materials and report defects or equipment issues to supervisor
- Clean and maintain paint line equipment
- Complete tasks on time and follow supervisor instructions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all safety regulations and perform additional duties as assigned
