The position involves spraying a variety of parts to close tolerances and specifications using different types of paint. Responsibilities include obtaining paint specified for the job from the paint inventory, mixing with appropriate thinner as required for spraying viscosity, mixing two-part urethane paint and reducer, spraying paint parts to specifications, inspecting parts for compliance with customer’s specifications, and managing hazardous waste according to procedures. The role also requires maintaining a clean work environment and performing housekeeping as needed.
