About The Position

Rocky’s Ace Hardware is seeking a sales-minded, knowledgeable and customer-centric Pro Paint Advisor to support our professional and commercial customers with their paint and coatings needs. This role is ideal for someone with experience in paint products, applications, and color matching, who can provide tailored solutions to contractors, property managers, and local businesses. The Paint Advisor will be responsible for driving paint sales, building relationships with business clients, and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• Previous experience in paint sales, home improvement, or a related industry preferred.
• Strong knowledge of paint products, coatings, and color matching techniques.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with business clients.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and managing orders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Nice To Haves

• Additional certifications in paint technology or coatings are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for professional paint customers, including contractors, property managers, and business owners.
• Provide expert advice on paint products, finishes, and applications to meet the specific needs of commercial projects.
• Assist customers with color matching, product selection, and ordering to ensure high-quality results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business accounts, identifying opportunities to increase sales and offer customized solutions.
• Conduct regular phone Calls to build sales
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to stay up to date on the latest paint products and trends.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless purchasing experience.
• Maintain a well-organized and visually appealing paint department.
• Support store marketing initiatives by promoting paint sales events and business-focused promotions.
• Provide training and support to team members on paint-related products, programs and services.
