Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
  • Comfortable bending, twisting, reaching
  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
  • Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic painting application including grit blasting machines
  • Dilute paint as required
  • Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws
  • Fill in production logs and reports.
  • Manual material handling
  • Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations
  • Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs) and 5S procedures.
  • Maintain accurate quality and production records
  • Embrace teamwork
  • Proper use of PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed boots, and others as applicable
  • All other duties, as assigned
