About The Position

Link-Belt Cranes is a global leader in the design, manufacture and sales of mobile cranes. Currently we have a Paint Prepper role open on 2nd shift. The Paint Prepper will prepare crane surface areas for finish paint application. Essential functions of the position include: Load and unload material to monorail/paint booth system using fixtures and overhead cranes Operate automated and manual blast equipment to achieve specified substrate surface profiles. Minor touch up paint if need to ensure all product leaving the area is cosmetically acceptable. Applies decals and safety labels to print specifications. Operates material handling equipment to transport product and avoid damage. Safety, Security and Environmental: Use equipment and materials properly Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S principles Observe safety, security and environmental procedures Report potentially unsafe conditions/situations Follow all procedures related to storage and consumption of Point-of-Use material. Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School or GED
  • Minimum of six (6) months related to finish paint preparation experience; preferred in an industrial manufacturing operation
