About The Position
Link-Belt Cranes is a global leader in the design, manufacture and sales of mobile cranes. Currently we have a Paint Prepper role open on 2nd shift. The Paint Prepper will prepare crane surface areas for finish paint application.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Minimum of six (6) months related to finish paint preparation experience; preferred in an industrial manufacturing operation
Responsibilities
- Load and unload material to monorail/paint booth system using fixtures and overhead cranes
- Operate automated and manual blast equipment to achieve specified substrate surface profiles.
- Minor touch up paint if need to ensure all product leaving the area is cosmetically acceptable.
- Applies decals and safety labels to print specifications.
- Operates material handling equipment to transport product and avoid damage.
- Use equipment and materials properly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S principles
- Observe safety, security and environmental procedures
- Report potentially unsafe conditions/situations
- Follow all procedures related to storage and consumption of Point-of-Use material.
- Perform other duties/tasks as assigned.
