Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have prior body shop and/or jamming experience
Must work well as a member of a team
Must be punctual and reliable
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Nice To Haves

Trade school or Vo-Tech degree/certification preferred

Responsibilities

Wash vehicles to remove dirt, oil, grease, and debris from painted surfaces
Locate and remove imperfections on panels prior to painting. Treat scratched and chipped areas with plastic or liquid filler
Apply paper and masking tape to protect unpainted surfaces, such as bumpers, windows, chrome trim, and other parts while surrounding areas are spray-painted
Smooth unmasked surfaces with sandpaper removing gloss from previous coats of paint. Sand rough spots
After vehicle is painted, remove masking tape and clean vehicle. Move vehicle to designated area for buffing
Consistently utilizes all required safety equipment and follows proper refinishing procedures in compliance with OSHA guidelines
Adheres to all requirements for hazardous waste disposal
Maintains a clean and organized work space
Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
All other duties, tasks and/or projects as assigned
