About The Position
The paint prep position prepares products for painting and repairs minor imperfections. This is a 1st shift position.
Requirements
- HS Diploma/GED preferred or equivalent industrial experience.
- Ability to understand and communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Sands product exterior in preparation of painting.
- Tapes/masks products for painting.
- Reworks products with nonconforming paint issues.
- May perform some simple repair/prep procedures such as putty work or touch up painting.
- Inspect finished work, completing any associated forms/checklists.
- Stages products for next workstation.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
- Other tasks as assigned.
