About The Position

Paint & Prep Technician Job Responsibilities: Mask/Prepare vehicles for painting Thoroughly review each repair order prior to working on vehicle Assessing and analyzing the damaged areas to prep for painting Remove all dust and other particles from prepared panels Must be able to sand, tape, prime, buff, mask and polish panels Remove imperfections from new paint Other duties assigned by the manager Environmental & Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to feel and handle, reach with arms and hands, talk and hear. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of automotive collision paint repair experience preferred
  • Collision Repair experience preferred
  • Must be able to work on and repair multiple makes of vehicles
  • Pay close attention to detail and quality of work performed
  • Must be able to follow all safety protocols using protective equipment
  • Valid driver’s license required and clean MVR
  • Maintain the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment
  • A current valid driver’s license and insurability rating is required

Nice To Haves

  • Collision Repair experience preferred
