About The Position

The Paint Prep Cleaner position is responsible for cleaning and preparing parts for paint / powder coating process on the paint line.

Requirements

• Reading, writing and basic mathematics.
• Safety conscious.
• Initiative.
• Teamwork orientation.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Two (2) years of manufacturing experience.
• Crane and forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing parts for painting including plugging and masking parts to be painted.
• Grind parts to remove sharp edges.
• Use overhead crane to move parts to wash area.
• Remove slag from workpieces in raw stock stage before painting.
• Forklift operation or willing and able to be trained to safely operate a forklift
• Must identify, store, stack, organize and stage product.
• Sweeping, cleaning, removal of trash, and scrap.
• Preventative maintenance as required.
