HSM is seeking qualified candidates for the Paint Line operator Loader and Unloader position at our Metal Plant in Hickory, NC. Payrate: $16.39/hr. Schedule: M-F; 3:30pm - 11:30pm. Parts are brought to the line by forklift driver.
Take parts out of bin, container or rack and are hung on the line.
Empty container and then remove from paint line by forklift.
Continue same process until the end of the shift.
Attach labels as directed by Forklift Operator, Lead Person, or Supervisor.
Place rack, bin, box, etc. in area for collection of parts. Some containers may be placed by forklift.
Remove product from paint line.
Put material in rack, bundle, or bin.
Some parts require the operator to place metal banding around the part to secure to be moved out for shipment.
Maintain safe work environment.
Tag and label finished products.

Must have excellent attendance and work record.
Must be able to write well.
Must be able to count and do simple math.
Lifting 25 to 35 lbs may be required.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production line.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must be able to perform other duties as deemed by management.
