About The Position

Imagine starting your shift in our Arab, AL (35016) facility, stepping into the Finish Paint area where precision meets production. You’ll prep components, apply coatings, and verify that every surface looks as good as it performs. Partnering closely with the lead technician and your teammates, you’ll help keep our line moving smoothly while upholding rigorous quality standards. What You’ll Do Support assembly activities within the Finish Paint operation, ensuring parts are ready for final coating. Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to achieve an ideal finish. Apply paints and finishes per detailed specifications and quality criteria. Inspect completed work and confirm it aligns with company quality expectations. Keep your station neat and safe, following all established protocols. Collaborate with peers to streamline steps and boost throughput. Promptly flag issues or variances to the lead technician. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent, plus at least 1 year of painting experience in a manufacturing environment (technical training is a plus). Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and meeting production timelines. Foundational knowledge of painting materials, tools, and techniques. Clear communication skills and a team-first approach. Curiosity and adaptability to learn new methods and technology.
