Job Description Essential Job Functions Equipment & Process Management Oversee the operation of robotic and automatic painting equipment (Fanuc). Perform cleaning, maintenance, and preventive maintenance (PM) on paint‑related equipment. Complete equipment rebuilds as required. Ensure all paint operations and processes remain within specification. Complete fault recoveries on robots. Conduct paint application assessments and defect analysis. Identify opportunities for process optimization and recommend improvements. Quality & Compliance Ensure all quality control data is collected accurately and meets required standards. Actively collaborate with floor personnel to ensure consistent production of quality parts. Support quality, environmental, and 5S initiatives. Participate in developing departmental practices and procedures. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and proper use of PPE. Leadership & Collaboration Train team members on paint processes, equipment operation, and safety procedures. Participate in cross‑functional meetings to provide insight on paint‑related processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and skill development within the team. Report safety issues to maintenance and follow up to ensure resolution. Conduct timely accident investigations and implement corrective actions. Administrative Responsibilities Complete all required shift paperwork and reports. Perform daily checklist items to ensure operational readiness. Qualifications Working knowledge of paint department processes and principles. General understanding of production control and scheduling systems. Experience with Fanuc P250 robotic systems. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time‑management abilities. Basic knowledge of paint application processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
