About The Position
The Paint Digital Engineer will be responsible for creating offline robot programs for robotic production processes within the paint department. This role involves coordinating with the Regional Paint Engineer to conduct trials and evaluate outcomes based on safety, quality, productivity, and cost. The engineer will support the Paint DE group in developing reach studies and cycle time analyses for various robotic processes, including sealer, UBC, dampening coat, primer, base, clear, and interior applications. The position requires strong leadership in meetings, documentation, and support for plant operations, with travel to the US, Mexico, and Canada as needed.
