Requirements

• Must be willing and able to pass an initial and periodic drug screens and a background check upon hire.

Nice To Haves

• Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, surface prep methods, and application techniques
• Experience in refinery, plant, power generation, or heavy industrial settings
• Proven leadership and crew management experience
• Ability to read and interpret coating specifications and project documentation

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily industrial painting operations, including surface preparation, coating application, and curing in industrial environments
• Planning, scheduling, and managing painting projects to meet production timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Supervising, train, and lead painting crews; ensure proper staffing levels and skill development
• Ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, environmental requirements, and company policies
• Coordinating with project managers, maintenance teams, and clients to scope work and resolve field issues
• Managing material procurement, inventory, and equipment maintenance for painting operations
• Enforcing coating specifications, inspection requirements, and quality control standards
• Tracking labor hours, job costs, and productivity; provide regular reporting to management
• Supporting bidding and estimating efforts by providing accurate labor and material input
