About The Position

MPS Group, Inc., is seeking a Paint Booth Cleaner Supervisor to join our team at the GM Factory Zero facility located in Detroit, MI. This individual is responsible for the safety of personnel and subcontractors, the quality of work, managing routine sanitation/janitorial cleaning and out-of-scope industrial cleaning operations at host facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma.
• One year of industry related experience.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Must have knowledge of all equipment used on the job site as well as all personal protective equipment, safety supplies, policies and procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and physical.

Responsibilities

• Develops TIS' and reviews these safety documents with the crew routinely.
• Evaluates and counsels' employees on quality and safety.
• Provides direction, equipment, small tools, materials and supplies to support the crew.
• Acts as a customer/client liaison.
• Prepares and submits job reports as directed by the Site Manager, Director and/or Customer.
• Makes recommendations on equipment purchases, personnel needs, equipment maintenance, etc.
• Receives and stows materials and supplies received.
• Inspects equipment and small tools to ensure in proper working condition and red tag and pulls out of service items that are damaged, broken or malfunctioning.
• Conducts site inspections and Safety Tours: Mod Audits, Prime Booth Audits, Conveyor Audits, etc.
