JOB SUMMARY: Performs a variety of duties involving cleaning, sanding and polishing to a required finish.

Requirements

• Must possess a HS Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be able to read and understand English.
• Strong work ethic / Be a team player.
• Must be able to climb, twist, bend and stoop.
• Must have use of hands and be able to work over-head.
• Must be able to stand, squat, and grasp.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Polish sanded surfaces using an electric Buffer and compounds with cloth or foam wheels.
• Remove masking after paint or apply masking prior to a process.
• Sand surfaces or parts using a mechanical or hand sanding.
• Sand or grind areas to remove sharp edges, burrs or defects in preparation of paint.
• Some assembly or disassembly in areas of job function may be required.
• Wash, wax and clean exteriors, interiors and engine compartments using various cleaners and equipment.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
