About The Position

Position is responsible to operate application equipment, programming, maintenance, trouble shooting and carrying out test matrixes per schedule. The incumbent interacts with others within the department to support existing products while collecting and reporting test data for OEM and/or general industrial applications to supervisor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 0–5 years of previous coating application experience preferred
  • Ability to perform mathematical conversions
  • Strong communication, written, and organizational skills
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the preparation of application equipment, calibration, and operating to apply coating samples for R&D testing.
  • Operates laboratory testing equipment related to coating quality confirmation.
  • Responsible for the preparation and sprays application of panels & collects data
  • Communicates discrepancies to supervisor, Technical Team, Laboratory Manager or Chemists
  • Conducts other sample on application system as specified by customer
  • Utilize appropriate safety methods, cleanliness and maintenance of equipment
  • Prepares data collection results and consults with supervisor as needed
  • Meets ISO/TS/Honda/Toyota and other customer’s standard operating procedures in all activities performed
