About The Position

To prepare painted and buffed parts for final assembly

Requirements

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• 6+ months of finish experience with exposure to sanding and buffing areas preferred.
• Textron Aviation Inc. must comply with U.S export control laws and regulations. If a position requires access to sensitive information controlled under these laws and regulations, a successful applicant must be eligible to meet any requirements to access controlled information.

Nice To Haves

• Textron Aviation Blueprint certification preferred.
• 6+ months of finish experience with exposure to sanding and buffing areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Removes any and all protective material from standard finished painted parts. (tape, cork, etc.)
• Cleans excess glue from all areas of part.
• Thoroughly inspects finish on standard parts and reviews paperwork for all the proper signatures.
• Identifies discrepancies and buffs additional areas that require polishing.
• Responsible only for own work.
• Performs other related duties as required.
