Howmet Aerospace is seeking a Paint and Coating Operator for the 3rd Shift at its Tucson, AZ location. This entry-level position operates on a 3rd Shift schedule, Sunday through Thursday, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

Requirements

• Solid interpersonal and communication skills
• Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds
• Attention to detail
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• U.S. person status (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee) due to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
• Previous experience within a manufacturing environment or a background working with machinery
• Previous hands-on experience using measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers and reading blueprints

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating the Vector and Dye Point machines to meet customer requirements
• Assists with inspecting components to the proper customer and production specifications
• Perform housekeeping duties on a regular basis as necessary
• Prepare daily production reports and forms
• Assists other operators with processing activities such as components weight counting, parts movement between location
• Adheres to Howmet EH&S, Quality, and other company policies
