About The Position

UPS is seeking an experienced Paint and Body Shop Technician with advanced skills in automotive collision repair and refinishing. This position is responsible for structural and non‑structural body repairs, surface preparation, color matching, and application of high‑performance commercial coatings across the UPS fleet. The technician will perform metal fabrication, panel replacement, frame alignment, sanding, priming, and finish paint operations in accordance UPS maintenance standards. The role also includes executing specialized fabrication and refinishing projects for vehicles designated for promotional, display, or public relations use.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a valid driver’s license – issued by the state
  • Must have standard tools
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years body and paint experience
  • Must be able to work Monday – Friday
  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6am – 8am starting time)
  • Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.

Responsibilities

  • Performs collision repair, welding and fabrication in both steel and aluminum
  • Repairs doors, latches, and other trim
  • Sands, preps and paints delivery vehicles
  • Details and applies decals to finish painting jobs
