Qualifications Required: BE/BC Pain Medicine Eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure ACGME Certified fellowship in Pain Medicine Department Information The Pain Medicine Department provides multidisciplinary care for patients with a broad range of conditions, including chronic low back and neck pain, radiculopathy and neuropathic pain, fibromyalgia, post-laminectomy syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, cancer-related pain, vertebral compression fractures, and lumbar spinal stenosis. Common procedures include epidural steroid injections, facet joint injections and medial branch blocks, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, peripheral nerve blocks, basivertebral nerve ablation, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, and kyphoplasty. Care is supported by state-of-the-art resources, including fluoroscopy suites with C-arm technology, in-clinic ultrasound, hospital operating rooms, and ambulatory surgery center access.
