About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Pain Management
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Joplin, MO
• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: May 2026 – Ongoing (3 months initial)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday and Tuesday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (opportunity to expand to additional days)

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults
• Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 20–30 patients per week
• Case Mix: Chronic pain management cases in outpatient setting

FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Athena
• Office Equipment Available: Standard pain management clinic equipment
• Support Staff Available: Clinic support staff
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 1–2 weeks

Requirements

• Active MO license required; OK license preferred
• Board Certification required
• DEA Required
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Comfortable managing outpatient chronic pain cases
