Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine
• Training background in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
• Extensive hands-on experience with interventional pain procedures
• Proficiency in Spinal Cord Stimulator and Intrathecal Pump implantation
• Active Maine medical license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent patient communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of interventional pain management procedures including epidural steroid injections, nerve blocks, facet joint injections, radiofrequency ablation, and more
• Implant and manage Spinal Cord Stimulators and Intrathecal Pain Pumps
• Evaluate and treat patients with complex acute and chronic pain conditions
• Collaborate with a dedicated clinical team committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes
• Some travel to satellite locations within the region required
