About The Position

Paid Search Specialist - Google Ads & Meta Helium SEO is hiring a 1099 Paid Search Specialist that will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, optimization, and reporting of paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Bing Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads and LinkedIn. Helium SEO is located in Cincinnati, OH. We are open to hiring a contractor to work remotely from Argentina. Role expectations include: Build and manage paid advertising campaigns for multiple clients ranging from $k-$10k+/mo in ad spend across various industries. Develop growth strategies for clients and execute around measurable KPIs. Monitor and analyze performance data and report results effectively to the team. Create client-facing presentations, as needed, to report on strategy, testing, performance, and insights. Proactively perform keyword research, A/B ad copy testing, competitor analysis, test target audiences and bid strategies. Participate in creative discussions around strategies and tactics that drive results with a team of Ad Specialists. Additional This 1099 position will start at about 20 hours per week Work remotely from home This position is a contract, and you will be responsible for setting your own schedule and invoicing us for the hours worked. This position is not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience building and managing Google Ads campaigns from scratch, including Search and Performance Max (PMAX), with demonstrable knowledge of how bid strategy changes affect campaign behavior.
• Ability to clearly explain and apply Google Ads bidding strategies — including Maximize Conversions, Maximize Conversion Value, Target CPA, and Target ROAS — and when to use each based on client goals and account maturity.
• Previous experience at a digital marketing or paid search agency managing multiple client accounts simultaneously, ideally across home services, B2C, or lead generation verticals.
• Proven experience with Meta Ads in addition to Google, with the ability to recommend the right platform mix based on client industry and goals.
• Strong working knowledge of keyword research, match types, and negative keyword management within Google Ads.
• Experience with Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Tag Manager for conversion tracking setup and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in English — reading, writing, and speaking — with the ability to communicate campaign performance and strategy clearly in a professional context.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft/Bing Ads.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads.
• Experience using Looker Studio to build client-facing dashboards and reports.
• Exposure to conversion tracking implementation via HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
• Experience managing home services or local services clients.
