About The Position
The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Preceptor role is designed for experienced Nurse Practitioners, MDs, or DOs who are passionate about teaching and mentoring Nurse Practitioner students in a clinical setting. This position addresses the nationwide shortage of preceptors by providing essential hands-on training to students in their final year of education, particularly in psychiatric and mental health care. Preceptors will earn compensation for their time and will have the opportunity to maintain their clinical skills while contributing to the education of future healthcare providers.
