About The Position
We are looking for college students interested in a Production Internship at LoveShackFancy. The intern will have the opportunity to learn all facets of Production; sample management, fabric and trim approvals, project management with overseas factories. They will develop a general understanding of Production & Design Development functionalities, responsibilities, and foster cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
- Organized, motivated, and armed with a can-do, positive attitude
- Able to work in our New York City office
- This role is best suited for a production management, merchandising or design student who is interested in product development and/or production.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook
Responsibilities
- Organizing production samples and bulk submits
- Assembling/organizing materials for overseas factories
- Opportunity to attend garment fittings
- Communicating with overseas factories
- Help arrange shipments to factories
- Working closely with team to prepare for production with overseas factories
- Assist in updating weekly WIP reports
- Help follow up with incoming samples/packages
- Liaison between factories, suppliers and production office
