About The Position
Devereux is in need Direct Support Professionals to work with our kids while they are out of school for the summer. Your school may even give you internship credit for this job! The pay for this position starts at $19.53/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $22.76/hour. This position may be located in Rutland, Paxton, Webster, or Fitchburg, MA. Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a Direct Support/Care Professional, you will be passionate about working with and helping youth, responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision, and provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. You will engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same. Additionally, you will teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Skills and possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.
