About The Position
We are seeking a motivated Canvasser to join our team for the Campaign to Re-Elect Rosemary Lesser in Ogden, UT. As a canvasser, you will engage in door-to-door canvassing to connect with voters across Ogden and the surrounding areas. This role is crucial in helping to mobilize support for Representative Rosemary Lesser by directly interacting with the community and encouraging voter participation. You will be responsible for asking voters about their voting plans, persuading them to support Rosemary Lesser, and, if applicable, encouraging them to volunteer, spread the word, donate, or host a yard sign. In addition to canvassing, you will distribute campaign literature on doorsteps and gather voter information and feedback using the MiniVAN app. You will also answer questions about Rosemary Lesser's platform and policies, directing voters to the campaign website and donation page as needed. This position may also involve launching door-knocking events for groups of volunteers and supervising and coordinating team members during canvassing activities. This is a part-time, temporary, and contract position that allows you to choose your own hours, primarily working evenings and Saturday mornings until election day. You will be expected to work approximately 20-25 hours a week, with the possibility of additional hours based on campaign needs. This role reports directly to the Campaign Manager and is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about community engagement and political advocacy.
