About The Position

Reed Brennan, a unit of Hearst and premier provider of custom page layout, content and editing services, seeks an experienced Pagination Colorist for its Orlando printing facility. We deliver creative, convenient, and very cost-effective solutions for our clients in the form of 6,000+ pages of paginated material every week. The Pagination Colorist is responsible for the daily production of comics. This position is a full-time position with a hybrid office schedule.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail
• Self-motivation to work with minimal oversight
• Quality communication skills
• Strong Adobe Photoshop skills
• Time Management
• Familiarity with InDesign
• Other graphics programs and file formats
• Apple OS knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Some college education
• Preferred background in newspaper production

Responsibilities

• Take BW line art comics and color objects using design software.
• Build completed paginated pages as needed.
• Proofread content for style, grammar and spelling errors.
