As part of our bold expansion into Los Angeles, the California Post and Page Six are seeking a deeply sourced Enterprise Media Reporter to deliver agenda-setting coverage of the entertainment and media industries. Reporting into the Page Six Media Editor, this reporter will focus on exclusives, investigative features, and enterprise reporting that reveal how Hollywood really operates. From uncovering the power players behind the scenes to digging into the business of TV, film, music, publishing, and streaming, this reporter will set the conversation with authoritative, exclusive stories. The ideal candidate has an extensive network of industry sources, a proven track record of exclusives, and the tenacity to chase stories that others miss.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of newsroom reporting experience with a focus on enterprise or investigative reporting in entertainment, media, or business
  • Demonstrated success delivering exclusives and building deeply sourced stories in competitive environments
  • Extensive network of industry contacts, from executives to agents, attorneys, and insiders
  • Strong news judgment and ability to identify the bigger story behind headlines
  • Excellent writing and reporting skills, with clips that demonstrate authority, accuracy, and flair
  • Comfort with court filings, public records, and data-driven reporting

Nice To Haves

  • On-camera experience strongly preferred
  • A strong social media presence or following is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exclusive, enterprise, and investigative stories about the entertainment and media industries
  • Cultivate and maintain a deep roster of high-level sources across Hollywood, media, and business circles
  • Develop sharp story ideas that explain power dynamics, deals, and industry trends with authority
  • Use documents, data, and public records to strengthen investigative reporting
  • File impactful, engaging copy that sets the agenda and reflects Page Six's distinctive voice
  • Represent Page Six on-camera, in podcasts, and across digital platforms, providing expert commentary on industry reporting
