Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Operates mills & lathes as required to fabricate required part(s). Inspects parts visually for defects. Trims parts as needed. Measure pipe/parts/fitting ensuring the quality of the pipe/parts/fitting meets QC data specifications. Escalates possible scrap issues to supervisor or Quality for verification. Completes production tickets with the proper information for audit purposes. Keeps assigned work area clean. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform hot air or extrusion welding.
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
  • Ability to operate calipers, micrometers, Pi tapes, etc.
  • Ability to use bandsaw and router.
  • Ability to read and follow specifications as required to mold required part(s).
  • Ability of read and write English.
  • Ability to work with minimum direction.
  • Abilit to identify different materials and products.
  • Knowledge of measuring and testing devices.
  • Knowledge of machine and tooling functions/interactions.
  • Ability to attain and maintain fabrication skill certification.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two (2) plus years fabrication experience preferred.
  • Experience working in fast pace, high change environment.
  • Exposure to machine noise.
  • Typical office/factory environment with possibility of exposure to heat in production area.
  • Working conditions are normal for a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Work may involve lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds and working in and around heavy equipment.
  • Working in this environment requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to, eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and work boots.
  • This role may require walking in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.
