About The Position
Aloha Scuba Diving Company is a Disabled Veteran owned 5-Star PADI IDC dive center located on the beautiful island of Oahu, Hawaii. Our mission is to provide unforgettable underwater experiences and promote ocean conservation through diving education. We pride ourselves on our commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking certified and experienced Diving Instructors and Divemasters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and sharing their knowledge of scuba diving with others. As a Diving Instructor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional instruction, ensuring the safety of students, and fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. In this role, you will teach scuba diving classes to students of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced divers. You will plan and lead dives in various locations, taking into account factors such as weather, water conditions, and student abilities. Conducting safety briefings, risk assessments, and equipment checks before dives will be a critical part of your responsibilities. You will also provide guidance on proper diving techniques, including buoyancy control and underwater navigation, and evaluate student progress while providing constructive feedback. Maintaining accurate records of student certifications and diving experiences is essential, as is participating in regular continuing education and professional development to stay current with industry developments and best practices. Collaboration with other instructors and staff members will ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for students.
